One caveat about the information contained in the book by Henry S.Furry that you will find at the above website--the author claims that his subject, Johannes FURREY/FORRER was the Johannes FORRER who arrived in Philadelphia on the ship Friendship in 1727; this claim is in dispute. There is more recent documented evidence that the 1727 immigrant was the Johannes FORRER from Ibersheim, Germany, who owned much propery in Hempfield, Lancaster Co. and died there in 1753, naming his surviving children as John, David, Jacob, Abraham, Daniel and Henry. This info from the book by Richard Davis "Emigrants, Refugees, & Prisoners, Vol. 2".
