Seeking information on the ancestors, siblings, and descendants of Martin Furry and Rosanna Myers married in Washington County Maryland 5 May 1820. Martin purchased land from John Myers of Jacob Myers Sr. near Sharpsburg per the following:

This Indenture made this twenty third day of April in the year of our Lord, eighteen hundred and thirty one. Between John Myers (of Jacob) of Washington County Maryland, of the one part and Martin Furry of the County and State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth, that the said John Myers, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars current money of the United States to him in hand paid by the said Martin Furry, before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof he the said John Myers doth hereby acknowledge, hath granted, bargained, sold, aligned, enfeoffed and confirm, unto this said Martin Furry, his heirs and assigns, all his one sixth, and undivided share of lot No. 2 of a tract of land continuing thirty seven acres, being part of a tract of land called Mount Pleasant, situated lying and being in Washington County aforesaid, as by a deed of convey anew from John Myers, Henry Myers, Rosanna Clayton, and Daniel Clayton, Sarah Myers, and Frederick Myers, Mary Kingry, and Jacob Kingry, Betsy Myers, and Jacob Myers, to the six children of Jacob Myers deceased bearing date the 21st day of January 1818, reference thereby being had, will at large appear: Together with all and singular, the rights, privilege, hereditamonts and appurtenances, whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any misa apportaining and all the estate, right, title, and interest whatsoever of him the said John Myers, both at law and in equity of, in, to, and out of the said tract or parcel of land, and promise hereby bargained and sold; or meant, mentioned or intended hereby so to be. To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land so as aforesaid described. Together with the buildings and appurtenances, and all and singular other the promises hereby bargained and sold or meant mentioned, or intended hereby so to be, and every part and parcel thereof, with their and every of there appurtenances, unto the said Martin Furry his heirs and assigns, forever, and to and for no other use, intent or purpose whatsoever; and the said John Myers, for himself, his heirs, executors, and administrators, doth hereby ervenant, grant, promise and agree to with the said Martin Furry, his heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, that he the said John Myers and his heirs, the said tract or parcel of land and premises, hereby granted, bargained, sold and every part and parcel thereof, with the appurtenances there belonging to him said Martin Furry, his heirs and assigns, against him the said John Myers, and his heirs, and against all and any right, title, or interest in and to the same, or any part thereof shall and will hereafter in assent and forever defend by these present.. In Witness whereof the said John Myers, hath here unto subscribed his name and affixed his seal the day and year first above written.

Maryland, Washington County, submit On this 23 day of April in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and thirty one, personally appear John Myers, being the party grantor, above named, before us the subscribers two of the Justices of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid, and acknowledges the foregoing deed or instrument of writing to be his act and deed and the lands and premises therein mentioned, hereby bargained and sold to be the right and estate of the within named Martin Furry party grantee also therein named, his heirs and assigns, forever, according to the purport, true intent and meaning of the said deed or instrument of writing and the acts of assembly in such case made and provided. And now at the same time also personally appears Mary Myers, wife of the said John Myers, before us aforesaid, and acknowledge the said deed or instrument of writing, to be her act and deed, and the lands and premises therein mentioned, to be the right and estate of the within named Martin Furry, his heirs and assigns, forever; And the said Mary Myers being by us privately examined apart from and out of the hearing of her husband, whether she doth make her acknowledgement of the same willingly and freely, and without being induced thereby fear or threats of or ill usage by, here husband or fear of his displeasure; acknowledge that she doth make her acknowledgement of the same willingly and freely, and without being induced thereby by fear or threats of, or ill usage by, her husband or fear of his displeasure.
