I am descended from Henry's brother Laurence/Lawrence Furry. Of interest to me today is that Henry was a shoemaker... Alexander Logan was also listed as a shoemaker by trade, living in the Niagara region of Ontario. His daughter, Eliza Logan, was probably the Eliza Logan who wed Jesse Furry in the 1830's at Thedford, Ontario. (Many meticulous references for the Logan Family to be found on the website of Joan Hapeman Somers at rootsweb http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~somers/jsomers.htm)

Leads me to wonder if Henry knew Alexander Logan, being 'in the trade'. I confess I am as interested in the story as I am in the civil records and dates. I'd like to hear more about 'family legends'.
