Surnames 'Furry' and 'Butts' in Mich.

In the 1880 Census Detour, Chippewa Co., Michigan (film #1254576 pg 138C) Jesse Furry, laborer 67, born Canada, parents born in Michigan was listed as living with the Thomas & Sarah Butts family. They were farmers.

Three questions: Is this actually the Jesse Furry born in Lowbanks in (depending on the records) 1801 or 1810?

Is this the same Jesse Furry who 'proved' a homestead in Michigan in 1895?

And what was his relationship with the Butts family? Was Sarah his daughter?

Thanks,
Ellan
