Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
I would consider it a possibility. But keep in mind there were at least two other Furry lines wandering about in Illinois at that time and many more in Ontario and Pennsylvania. Frank, son of Jesse and Eliza, was born in about 1862 (He is 8 on the census of 1870 in Carlinville, Macoupin, Illinois.) I have been unable to trace him as yet. I have found a person named Frank Furry in http://www.iserv.net/~bryant/jamestown.htm but don't know if its yours, mine, or both. This part of Northern Michigan, however, is very close to where my grgrgruncle Frank was born in Ontario and also very close to the place where Nelson and Albert Furry signed up for service in the Union Army. In any case, would be glad to correspond with you, while we both search.
