I am a direct descendant of Peter James and Barbara(Sherrick) Furry, parents of Catherine (Kate) Furry. I show her Birth to be 14Aug1814 in York Co.,Pa., died 13Oct1881, Coles Co., Illinois, md William Price 4May1839. Peter James bn 23Jan1789 York Co.,Pa, d 4Aug1851 Coles Co., Illinois, md 27Mar1810 York Co.,Pa., Barbara bn 14Nov1786 Lancaster Co., d 31Jul1851 Coles Co., Illinois dau of David and Barbara(Erb) Sherrick. Peter, his wife(Barbara), dau-in-law(Rebecca(Tedrow)Furry and her son Jacob Wesley Furry Jr all died within five days of one another from Cholera. I have more data on this family if anyone is interested.
