Hi Ian,

How wonderful! It's been very hard trying to track down current members of the family. Victor would have also been my great uncle. My grandmother Louise was Mary's sister. Would love to know their children and any current living relatives. I have little on the McAuliffes, and have been trying to find them as well. Do have their father Charles H. McAuliffe's death certificate, and know he was married to Annie Maguire. Charles was born in Enfield, N.C. parents were John P. McAuliffe(b.Ireland) and Anne Bottom born Halifax County Va. This was probably his second wife. 1850 and 1860 census lists wife as Sarah and also lists 2 other children, Sarah and William. I don't know what happened to them or the rest of the McAuliffes, but they did leave N.C. after Charles was born in 1861.

Children of Charles and Annie were Louise, Charles, Regis, Mary, Agatha, and Anna.

Don't have any info on Victor, other than that he married Mary.

I have more info on Mary's parents and grandparents, but it is limited. You are more than welcome to have anything I have.

I know Charles is buried at New Cathedral Cemetary in Baltimore, but do you know if the rest of the family are there? Have no dates for his wife Annie, except she was probably born in Carlisle Pa.

My e-mail is Would also love to hear from cousin Mary

Thanks Cousin Ian,
