Mrs. Mary Ethil Fureigh Martin, 89, of Little Rock, a native of Quitman, died Tuesday (Sept. 22, 1998).
Born Dec. 29, 1908, in Quitman, a daughter of the late John Francis and Susan Ida Rushin Fureigh, she was the widow of Paul Martin, retired from McCord's in Detroit, and a homemaker. She was also a member of Highland Valley United Methodist Church, the Communion Committee and Quilters Club.
She was also preceded in death by a son, John Martin; a daughter, Mary Ruth Teller; six sisters; five brothers; and a grandson.
Survivors are a brother, Jesse J. Fureigh of Springfield, Mo.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home in Little Rock with the Rev. Kurt Boggan officiating. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery near Quitman.
