I accessed this site today and was amazed at your story of Thomas Fury. My grandmother was Catherine Fury sadly she died in 1993. She told me that she was the youngest of 15 children, her father was a tin merchant, originally from Ireland but moved to South Wales. Her mother was the second wife of her father, the first died at sea on the way to Australia. She was orphaned at a very young age but was raised by nuns in a convent in Wales. She moved to Buckinghamshire and went into service in Penn and met my grandfather, Frank Jarvis. Sadly she was widowed when my father was about 3years old. She subsequently married again and had three more children by an Ernest Allen.

I think we are related!!!
Lynne Rackstraw nee Jarvis
