You might also consider checking with attorney Thomas Fuselier, 302 Main Street, Mamou, Evangeline Parish, Louisiana, 70554. He may be able to provide you with some information on the political aspects in Evangeline Parish. As for myself, I really don't know much about the Fuseliers. My father was Charles Fuselier, m. Hazel Bessie Tate. His father was Savan "Chock" Fuselier, m. Azeline Fruge, ived in farming community of Duralde in Ev. Parish, which is where I grew up. Have relatives in Ville Platte, descendants of Alcius & Maudry Fuselier. This is the first time I've visited this site or had any interest in geneaology, but it seems very interesting.
