I just read an article by Pachal Fuselier online. I am familiar with this articles. This one was about the local superstition of the "feu follet". In this article, he mentioned "an old cajun by the name of Cas-chaud. I am very interested to find out who this "Cas-chaud" might be. My gr grandfather (my paternal grandmother's father) was Achille Ardoin, and I was told by my mom that he was known as (what sounded like) Cas-chaud. No family members on my dad's side are around anymore. Would appreciate any info one might have on this Cas-chaud. OH...Achille Ardoin was married to my grandmother Calicia Chapman.... many years later Calecia married Fabius Fuselier...they were quite old when they married, and Fabius was blind. I was told Calecia married him to take care of him. But I do not know when my grandfather (Achille Ardoin) died, where he is buried etc.
