I agree that name is a little confusing to track. In http://donfuse1803.tribalpages.com (Fusilier/Jeansonne Familes)Philip appears several times as Philipe Zerban Tibbens-both names! However he is listed only as Phelipe Zerban in his 26 Dec 1800 New Orleans marriage citation, according to the same source as above, on the Euphemie Fuslier page. He was our Grandmother Corinne's Great Grandfather and she documented him as Philip Zerban when she wrote her personal family history, which was my own original source.
