Conrad Fuss(Foos)

My ggrandfather is Conrad Foos(Fuss/Fos/Foose/Fusz). In 1870 he and his wife Magdalena (22), his daughters Augste 3 1/2 and Amalie (10 months) came over from Saxony on the vessel Laura around the Spring of 1870 to the Port of Baltimore. I have found Conrad up until 1900's in Baltimore. After that he and Magdalena seem to disappear. I beleive Magdalena's maiden name is Kelner. They had several other children, one being my grandfather Charles K. On census records Conrad states he is from Germany and Magdalena is from Saxony. Is there anyone else following this line? Did Conrad have any relatives over here? Who are his parents? Any brothers or sisters? Where in Germany his he from?
I'm am at a dead end. I have found my maiden name (Foos) found spelled so many different ways, I really don't know what the correct spelling should be. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.
