Somerset / Gloucestershire Fussells: William Fussell

Hello fellow Fussells.

Not sure if my first help message was posted (?). I'm Mark Nicholas Fussell (born Winchester, UK 6 Dec 1967). I'm about to start tracing my ancestors and no doubt we're going to have some common ground - somewhere, some time. My family are definitely Somerset and Gloucester born and bred, possibly out of Mells (Iron works, UK). My late Grandfather, Laurence Walkling Fussell (Rev. Preb of Wells Cathedral), wrote "Via Old England" about his pastoral care of the parish of Wellow St. Julian (near Bath, UK) and he researched the family back as far as 1446 (not that WE can link ourselves this far back - we do have p/copies of original documents). My great grandfather, Herbert James Fussell (who married twice) founded Fussell's Rubber Co. of Weston-Super-Mare.

I'm waiting for my granfather's notes and I'm going to need help to work through what he turned up. I'll also need to verify it. If you can help or would like to, drop me a line. I'll share any information I can in the hope you too will benefit.

Best regards, Mark
