Jo McPhail,
I have Enoch Fussell born in Duplin County, North Carolina in 1818. He married Mary Eliza Morgan on May 03, 1850 in Muscogee County, GA. Enoch was a younger brother to my g.g.grandfather Benjamin Arnold Fussell born in 1813 in Duplin County, North Carolina, who also first settled in Columbus, Muscogee County, GA and then in Chattahochee County after it was cut from Muscogee and Marion Counties. Benjamin Arnold Fussell died in Chattahochee County after 1870. Both Enoch Fussell and Benjamin Fussell were the sons of Jacob Fussell and Esther Williams. Jacob Fussell and Esther Williams migrated to Telfair County, Georgia before 1828 because their son Stephen Miller Fussell was born in Telfair County, Georgia in 1828. They had four other children born in Telfair County, GA. They were Easter Fussell born in 1831, Aaron Fussell born in 1832, Boney Wiley Fussell born May 04, 1833, and Nancy Fussell born 1834. I hope this information helps you.
Ernest Boland
