Melinda Tillman,
Your posting reference to Rebecca Macey Fussell peaked my interest. I am a descendant of Benjamin Arnold Fussell born 1813 in Duplin County, N.C. and his wife Barsheba. He is the son of Jacob Fussell and Esther Williams. I do not have any information in my data base about Rebecca Macey Fussell or Alfred Pomeroy Goldsberry, but I am sure she is closely related to my g.g.grandfather Benjamin Arnold Fussell since your census report shows Macey Rebecca Fussell being born on 20 July 1849 in Marion Co, GA. Marion County, GA is right next to both Muscogee County and Chatahochee County where my Fussell family settled and is from. Benjamin Arnold Fussell and Barsheba' first child Zilla Anne Fussell was born in Muscogee County, GA on July 09, 1837 so both Fussell families had to be close by each other during that time frame. Any information that you might care to share with me will be greatly appreciated. I have data on my Fussell Family back to William Fussell born 1678 in Yorkshire, England. I will be happy to swap data with you or anyone else who is researching the Fussells (Soloman Fussell, and his brother Benjamin Fussell who is my family's immigrant to America.)
