Frank is an elusive fellow. The first time we have been able to find him is 1873 when he got married to Sarah Dees in Manatee County, Florida. His children were: Edward, Thomas Franklin, Jessie, Arnold C., and Florence A. (Florence was also known as Apple).
Matilda America Lamb Fussell told her niece that his family came to Florida with a family by the name of Mizell (or Mizells). Matilda said he was not from the same family of Fussells as she was. She hinted that he might have been illegitimate. We know he owned land in Fort Denard (Lee County) Florida and some in Desoto County, Florida.
It has been suggested that his mother was a Mizzell.
Any help finding Frank's parents would be appreciated.
