Looking for any information on this Tutt family:
1840 Census, Bibb Co., GA
Benjamin Tutt
2 Males age 20-30 (See Note)
1 Male age 50-60 (Benjamin?)
1 Female age 30-40
Note: My guess is that one of these 20-30 year old males is the William Tutt buried in Rose Hill Cemetery. No clue regarding the name of the other young male or the female. Next door neighbor was a Robert Carver, age 30-40. See note below for relevance.

Note: This 9 year old Benjamin Tutt was Albert Benjamin Tutt who lived in Bibb Co., GA, until he died in February 1922. He likely was born in Bibb Co. He was a member of the Macon Guards during the Civil War. Apparently he never married. Finally, the obit says, “Interment will be in the family burying ground near Rutland.” He may have been the son of one of the 20-30 year old males on the 1840 Census, perhaps William. Don’t know the connection between Mary Carver and Benjamin Tutt unless she was his mother and she remarried. However, Bibb Co. records show a marriage between Levi A. Carver and Mary Kelly 3 Feb 1845.
