I am trying to find my great great grandparents. My great grandmother Mary J. Nelson married first unknown Bryant, I think in Georgia. Their two children, Mattie Maud, b. 1888 and Bas C., b. 1890 were born in Bibb County, Georgia. He died shortly after his son was born. Mary married a second time to J. W. Workman on July 17, 1892 in Craighead Co. Arkansas. They had three children all born in Arkansas. Elsie George Workman, born 1895, Frank William Workman, born 1897, and Clarence E. Workman, born 1899, all in Craighead Co. AR. J. W. Workman is dead before the 1900 census and his mother Miranda Workman is living with Mary. Mary marries for a third time to Joe Tucker before the 1910 census. They have a son Unice L. (or Eunice) Tucker born 1903, Craighead Co. AR. I would like to know what J. W. stands for. I also cannot find Miranda anywhere else. Because Mary's husband's died between census' I am having trouble finding them listed with their parents. I found WWI registrations for Elsie and Frank but neither of them remembered their father. I also cannot find when Miranda Workman died. Joe and Mary Tucker probably died in Craighead County, AR but I cannot find them either. They are both listed on the 1910, 1920 and 1930 census'. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
Can anyone find the marriage of Mary J. Nelson and unknown Bryant? I believe Mary's parents are Bascom A. Nelson and unknown. I have not been able to find Mary's mother's name either.
