Thank you ever so much for all your effort on my behalf.
As I read the first couple of sentences, I began to think that no this wasn't my grandfather's cousin after all. I never knew that the family was in Illinois at the time of his birth...or that he lived for a time in Oklahoma.
But then I saw that he was indeed the son of Bertha and Hampton Green and that he was survived by a sister and two brothers. His brother Marvin died on Jan. 20, 2000 in Homosassa, Florida and his other brother, Willard (the last of the children) died on Aug. 8, 2000.
I am so grateful. If it's not too much of a bother, I would really like to have a copy of his obituary. If you can scan it and send it by email that would be fine. My email address is ragreen516@aol.com. If it's easier to just send it by snail mail, let me know and I'll drop you my home address.
