Melissa,
I have found John T. Seay listed in the 1870 & 1880 census records of Brooks Co., Ga. as John Lee, but he was married to Sibbiah E. Gornto. He was also listed as John See in records of Brooks Co. Rifles. Does any of this sound familiar? I am seeking names of the parents of John Thomas Seay, supposedly born in S. C. in 1842 or 1845.
