From the Butts County Cemetery book:

Sandy Creek cemetery is one of the oldest cemeteries in the county with many very old and beautiful markers. It is located in the southeastern part of the county across from the railroad tracks. There is a trust fund to cover the cost of maintenance. Follow US 23/GA 87 south, 7.1 miles to Darnell Road and turn left. Go .1 mile to Sandy Creek Road and turn right and the cemetery is .2 mile on right. It is well maintained and still in use.

Hope this helps.
