Several researchers say that William O. Robinson's middle name was Osmus (or Ausmus) and that he was born in 1825 in Morgan Co. GA, was raised in Newton Co. GA, and died in Carroll Co. GA in 1898. He married Rosannah Helen Sinah Lofton, daughter of John and Sarah Lofton, in 1851 in Butts Co. GA.
I'm trying to find out the source for these facts. He isn't in my direct line, but I'm trying to help a cousin trace her roots. She descends from William through his son Obadiah Levi S. Robinson and his first wife, Luanna Baker.
I appreciate any help.
