Mary Elizabeth Pipkin married (1) Berry A.Armstrong in 1860 and after his death she married Calvin Q. Joiner in 1889. By 1912, Mary is once again a widow when she files for a pension under the Confederate service of her first husband Berry Armstrong. She is living in Butts County & this is where she filed for the pension. Other researchers have given her date of death as 18 Nov 1824 in Jackson, Butts Co., GA. I would like to prove or disprove that date and also would like to know where she is buried. If anyone can point me in the right direction on this,I would be most appreciative. At this point I have no idea why Mary was living in Butts County. Prior to moving there, she had spent her entire life in Pulaski County. She is the daughter of Phillip P. Pipkin (b 1817 Dooly Co., GA) and Miranda (last name unknown, b.c 1818 in NC). Can anyone shed any light on this brick wall?
Thank you.
