HISTORY NOTES: Henry Grady JARRELL
Griffin resident Mr. Henry Grady Jarrell, age 78, of Griffin, passed
away on Sunday, July 8, 2007 at his residence.
Mr. Jarrell was born in Butts County on Feb. 15, 1929 to the late
Carl Jarrell and the late Bessie Foster Jarrell.
Mr. Jarrell is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gloria Kinard
Jarrell; children and their spouses, Debye and Jim Herbert, Angie and
Larry Mathis of Jackson, Randy and Linda Jarrell of Brunswick, Carl
and Lynn Jarrell of Elberton; grandchildren, Melisa and Jeff Burson,
Katie and Bill Glass, Vanessa and Keven Potts, Nicole and Jason
Jacobs, Cody Jarrell, Zack Jarrell; great-grandchildren, Lauren and
Hunter Burson, Logan and Madalyn Potts, Gavin and Abby Glass, Rhett
Jacobs; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Myrtice Simmons, Thelma
Griffin, Faye Heywood, Billy and Betty Kinard, Ray and Lether Kinard,
Alvin Alexander, Larry and Fran Bishop.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Henry Jarrell will be conducted on
Monday, July 9, 2007 at 6 p.m., at the Foster-Jester-Huddleston
Cemetery.
The Rev. Rick Foster will officiate.
Friends may visit the family on Monday afternoon from 3 p.m. until
5:15 p.m. at the funeral home.
If inclement weather appears the service will be held in the Chapel of
Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.
