Locations of historic C.C. sites...??

Hi,
I'm trying to find the exact locations for a couple of historic Carroll County landmarks.
First, the ruins of the Buckhorn Tavern, which is supposed to be about 1.5 miles east of Temple, GA on Hwy. 78.
Second, the exact location of the original 1829 Carroll Courthouse, the log structure that was moved to the present location of Carrollton the next year. I seem to recall having read somewhere that the house had a pit dug out underneath it and prisoners could be literally put 'under the jail'. This pit could possibly still there, though unlikely. I believe it was near the present site of the Old Carrollton Primitive Baptist Church on Hwy. 61 at Sand Hill. I've been there and looked around a bit, but the exact location of the 'Courthouse' could be anywhere within a half-mile radius I suspect.
Third, has anyone ever heard of a Johnson Foundry located at Bremen, just over in Haralson County? My brother, the blacksmith, has some iron articles with this name cast onto them and was curious.
I've been to McIntosh, Banning Mills, the Camp Odum monument, Wickes Tavern, the Bonner Gold Mines, the Thomas Bonner house, etc. I can supply information about any of these places if anyone is interested.
Thanks,

Brett Barnes
