I am looking for information for someone I believe to be my ancestor. I know for sure my 2nd great grandfather was Jonathan C. Martin, b. 1832. I found a Jonathan C. Martin, b. 1832 in the 1850 Carroll County, GA census. His parents were T.S. (45) and Mary Martin (32). I couldn’t make out the occupation listed on the census. I will list the children at the end of this post.

Anyway, I wanted to check to see if any of the neighbors names were familiar, so I went to the top of the page were I noticed T.S. Martin was the Asst. Marshall. What is this and is there anywhere I can get more information on T.S. Martin? Does anyone have information on this family?

Jonathan C. b. 1832, Bird b. 1836, William b. 1838, Charles? b. 1840, Eliza b. 1842, twins Mary & George b. 1844, Dalton b. 1846, Martin b. 1848
