In the 1860 Carroll County, Georgia there is a Wm. B. Lard, wife Elizabeth, daughter Caroline age 10, and other children. Using Caroline's parents surnames found in the death certificate in the FamilySearch marriage search I found the marriage of William B. Laird to Elizabeth Hightower 23 December 1847 in Campbell County, Georgia. I also found a one generation pedigree chart for Elizabeth Hightower at the same site.
