I am seeking information on Frances Emma West Allen. She was born 15 Oct 1842 in South Carolina and died 25 June 1924 in Floyd County, Georgia. She was married to Andrew J. Allen and had a son, Joseph Allen. She later married Peter Tarpley Carroll on 14 October 1879 in Chattooga County, Ga. She had three chilldren with Peter Tarpley Carroll. They were Theodora Alice b. 1881. Horace Garfield b. 1882, and Hettie Louisa b.1884. Frances Emma West's parents were J.T. West and Sarah Schmidt West. Frances Emma was born in Spartenburg, South Carolina and came to Chattooga County during the Civil War.Any information re the West Family will be appreciated. Sherry
