Mary Camilla Rich was born in 1878 in Bartow Co. GA. She died on January 23,, 1949 in Summerville, GA. She was the daughter of William Melton Rich and Mary Barilla Wofford. She married Herman D. Mallicoat on January 25, 1900 in Summerville, GA. They had the following children:
1) Mary Elizabeth Mallicoat
2) Elsie Lounette Mallicoat m. Reuben Underwood
3) James William Rich Mallicoat m. Suzie Schropsher
4) Frances Eylene Mallicoat
5) Effie Laverda Mallicoat m. William Parker
6) Herman D. Mallicoat, Jr., born 1904, m. Dulcie Ratcliff.
7) Alzada Gwendolyn Mallicoat m. Lee Underwood.
