Dear Mr. Hooker:
I apologize to you. I was only today informed of your post to this site. When I received your order, I had only my personal copy of one of the issues you requested, and so had to have it reprinted. This, with my current work schedule, was put off for several weeks. Then, I mailed 2 issues at the end of March--which issues apparently never reached you. Your most recent email was not answered immediately because I have been traveling for work and seldom check this account other than on weekends when possible.
I hope you understand that these are all my circumstances and are no reflection on the mission, goals and dedication of the members of the Chattooga County Historical Society. We are a small organization, staffed solely by volunteers.
I have packaged replacement copies of the quarterlies along with a check to reimburse the cost to you as a small offset to the inconvenience. Again, I apologize.
Please do share with us any queries, stories or genealogical information you would like included in our Historical Society's quarterly publication.
