I am trying to locate any information about a Jesse B. Webb who was a hotel keeper in Fort Gaines. He was married to Sarah [maiden name unknown] and they had at least two sons. Their oldest son John G. Webb was a well-known figure in Fort Gaines as he was some kind of county official and was also the city marshal for Fort Gaines.John Webb was the enumerator for the 1880 census in Fort Gaines. Jesse and Sarah also had a son William J. Webb who was a young lawyer in the 1860s in Fort Gaines. If anyone has any information about this family, I would like to hear from you.
Thank you.
Gwen Washington
