I cannot find where my ancestor lived. They called their home Mountainside and it was near Mableton in the Coxes District. Their names were William & Eliza Martin.
I have no idea how to figure out where it is exactly by using the census and area plot maps. If I had the plot maps I could I suppose try to find who lived on either side of them on the plot map and then I would know if they owned or rented.
They lived there in 1900 and 1910 census.
I can't find them anywhere in 1920, even in the local cemeteries.
If I could find their home, then I could try to find when it was sold or inherited by someone else. I am so afraid that they rented and that is not going to be much help to me.
I would have no idea where to search from there.
