Looking for help on the Partridge and Kemp family history and would like to gather information regarding the following.
I noticed a post by Ray McCall from 1999 in the Partridge family genealogy forum that mentions two marriages (believe these were prior to 1890) in Tallapoosa County, AL, between Hendersons and Partridges: John Wesley Partridge married Frances Henderson and Lizzie Partridge married Willim Jesse Henderson. Does anyone have information on the parents of John Wesley Partridge or Lizzie Partridge?
I am trying to locate descendants of a young couple who show up in the 1850 Cobb County GA census as Linney Partridge, married to Jesse Partridge. They are shown as living between the homes of Moses Kemp and John Wesley Kemp who were brothers out of Greenville, SC.
Believe that it is possible that Linney P. is the married daughter of John Wesley Kemp (who had a sister named Linnea Kemp). Any help on these folks will be greatly appreciated.
