In researching a part of the Rhames family with origins in Wewahitchka, Florida, I have been led to Early County, Georgia.
I have copies of several Family Bible pages listing Lougenia Scott -m- 1st Madison McCleland, 2nd: Nathan Rhames (2 children by McCleland, and 3 by Rhames.
One of the Rhames children married a Temples (either Huldy Ann Melissy Rhames or Emmer Pursiler Rhames.
Nathan Lougenia Rhames -m- Theodore D. Smith
Temples listed:
Aldony Temples, b: 1-14-1886
Edward Framklin Temples, b: 5-4-1888
Also listed is a Daisy Bell Temple Ellis (1893-1978)
In 1900 these and other children are found living with their grandmother: Lougenia Rhames in Early County, Georgia.
Anyone having additional information, please graciously share.
