Can anyone help with this puzzle??

My great grandfather, Samuel J. Elrod, born possibly in SC between 1856 1nd 1862. First married Amanda Grant, and they had several children (I know none of their names). His second wife was my great grandmother, Lucinda Fowler, of Floyd Co., GA area. They married May 24, 1884 in Floyd Co., GA, and resided in Fannin Co., GA.

Samuel's father's name was Bart Elrod. That's about all I have on Samuel J. Elrod. If anyone has any info on him or his parents, or his children from his marriage to Amanda Grant, I would so appreciate it if you would share it with me.
