Mr. Davis are you a descendant of James G. Morris, thanks for the information, this is the first time I have found any information as to what part of South Carolina he hailed from, sound rights, since James G. had a son named William, and then my ancestor Francis Marion... I have been told that the Mitchlls and Morris families came to Fayette County about the same time, I do know my grandmother was related to the Mitchlls some way...I have read and article that stated General Francis Marion, was older than his sisters and not much known about the sisters, except that the sisters were the grandmothers of the Mitchell kids, and another family I can't remember, since there are so many Francis Marion Morris, do you know if there is any connection to the Marion family.
