Found While Digging In Yard- Lawson

I live in Fayette Co GA. While digging in my back yard I found a very small iron skillet, deep in the ground. I think it was probably a give away item to advertise a company. Inside the little skillet it says LAWSON FURN. CO
I wonder if it is a furniture co or furnace co? My house was built in 1976. Does anyone know of old records listing businesses in Fayette Co GA?
