Hi. I am looking for information about the parentage of Comfort Jones. She may be from Cherry Log, Gilmer County, Georgia or somewhere in South Carolina. She was married to John D. Nelson, a blacksmith in and around Pickens and Cherokee Counties, Georgia. He invented the Nelson Rifle.
