Alford ADAMS (sometimes written Alfred, Alfard) was b. 6 Jan 1813 in SC. His wife, Sarah Ann WATSON was b. 7 Jan 1816 in MARION, GILMER COUNTY GA. They married in 1835 in Gilmer Co. on 7 January 1836, but were certainly living in SUMPTER COUNTY GA by 1842, perhaps earlier. They were in Coffee Co. AL by 1852, died in Covington County, AL. Buried in Harmony Cemetery.

Martha Rebecca Amanda Adams b. 1837 GA
Johnathon Welsy Adams b. 1839 GA died civil war
Elizabeth Ann Adams b. 1842 Sumpter County, GA
Joseph (or Josephant) Andrew Adams b. 1844 AL "Andy"
James Thomas Adams b. 1846 GA "Tommy"
Amanda Layunar Ann Adams b. 1848 GA
Benjamin Allen Adams b. 1852 Coffee Co. AL
Several children and other descendants are buried in Antioch Cemetery, near Andalusia, AL.
