I would like to find descendants of William Alpheas Moore, b. 1842 in GA and his wife, Mary Davis also born in 1842 in GA. They are buried in a Moore Family Cemetery in Greene CO, GA along with some of their children/grandchildren. There is also Burnette Moore 1787-1849 and his wife Rebecca Billingsly 1786-1863 buried in this cemetery and some of their children. Their connection is undetermined at this time. Considering the 56-57 years age difference they are possibly grandparents of William Alpheas Moore. If so, who were his parents?
The children of William Alpheas and Mary (Davis) Moore according to the Skull Shoals, Greene CO, GA 1880 census were:
Levi, Annie, Warren, Sallie (m. B. C. Edwards), Bennett, Barnes, Hattie, Rosa, and Charles.
I am interested in any information pertaining to this family. Sallie Moore Edwards was my g grandmother and she died when my grandfather was quite young. I have a very good picture of her that I will share with anyone who is connected and/or interested.
I'd appreciate all/any information.
