To answer you about Burwell Rogers-

Rev. Sol. Burwell Rogers was born 1762 Johnson Co. NC and died 29 Oct 1832 Wilcox Co. Al.
he married Sara---
I have the list of his 9 children- and more on most..

He was son of Drury (Drewery) Rogers & Tabitha Britton (Albritton) son of the Joseph I mentioned earlier & Mary Ferguson...

I do not know of any Greene Co. ties- to Burwell-

Here are my notes on him:

Washington Co. to John Thymes of Warren for 40 shillings 100 acres granted
in the name of Drury Rogers, surveyed Jul. 19, 1784, Burrel Rogers (LS)
James Kendrick (LS) Samuel Stokes (LS) Wit. Mansel Womak, Jordan Bker Rec.

He moved to Wilcox Co Al in the 1820's. Full record of his estate settlement is in Wilcox Co Probate
Court Minutes Book 2 opened 20 Oct 1832 final settlement motion Oct 1835..wife and children
named.Lettiuce wither second wife or another name for first.
Rec. land grant 287 1/2 acres Washington Co Ga. 1785.
Burrell and Sarah Feb 15, 1790 sold to my John Lamar of Greene in Washington Co. Ga.
Also, according to a letter from Molly McLaughlin of Jesup Ga Oct. 95 he was
neighbors in Al. with William Carter Samson during the Civil War, who wrote his wife Martha Hand Dale "Mattie" asking about this family...they were the next household in 1860. Wm. Carter Sansom son of John Lamar Sansom and Sara Carter of Dallas Co Al by 1820 Jasper/Clarke Co MS by 1830. He was probably son of Micajah Sansom b 1732 Lunenburg Co Va d 1830 Newton Co Ga to Burke Co NC by 1782 to Greene Co Ga by 1798 Had land Baldwin-later Jasper and Letitia Lamar.
He served Ga line from Wilkes.
Also shown married to a Lettice d 1 Aug 1837.

So maybe he is a StepFather?????? Gerry Hill...
