I am interested in the WILSON, HARRIS, and BLANKS families in Greene Co., GA. The earliest Wilson I have in my line is a John Lumpkin WILSON b. 1814 in Greene Co., GA who married Mary Jane HARRIS who was b. 1822, daughter of Matilda BLANKS and William HARRIS. John and Mary Jane married 29 Aug 1839.
Matilda BLANKS was the daughter of William BLANKS (son of Henry BLANKS and Naomi COX,) and Jane HILL (daug. of Capt. John HILL.)
John and Mary Jane WILSON had moved to Alabama by the time of the Civil War, then moved to Texas by 1880. Does anyone have any connections to John Lumpkin and Mary Jane (Harris) WILSON?
