Do you know if your Ward's are related to Francis Ward of Putnam, Burke and Greene Cos. GA?
Francis Ward was b. 1765 in VA and was in Burke Co., GA by 1790. 1st wife was Susannah d. 1808 in Putnam Co., GA. His sons were Rowan H. and Benjamin F. Ward. There were a lot of Wards in Putnam Co. Amos Ward is probably his brother or cousin. Have not been able to prove this.
