I’m searching for info on a George WARD, who married my 3rd great-gma on 5-10-1857 in Greene Co, GA. My 3rd great-gma’s name was Caroline Frances Perdee, but was also known as Frances C. Perdee/Perdue in several documents over the years.
I found a marriage record for the aforementioned folks, but I’m thinking George WARD died or something else happened, because Caroline Frances was back living w/ her parents and siblings on the Woodville, Greene Co, GA 1860 census as Frances C. WARD, 19 yrs old. Caroline was b. ABT 1841, making her around 16 at the time of the marriage.
Just trying to get insight into to this serial wife, as Caroline had 2 or more other marriages after WARD. I’d like to know a little more about George WARD, such as birth date, state of origin, race, etc., even though he’s not my line.
