I am trying to help a high school classmate who is new to genealogy find something about her grandfather. His name was William Frank Jackson and married Mattie Lay. She thinks he died around 1943-44 and is buried in the Siloam, Georgia cemetary. He lived in a two story colonial house on the road between Greensboro and Sparta, Ga. His house was just east of what is known as Mosquito Crossing east of the Veazey community. This is not the same Jackson who once owned the Shoulderbone Creek house further down that same road, but may be related. I am trying to get her to send me any other information she knows about him. She has all of his children's names but has not sent them to me as of this posting.
