In the book "Eavenson-Strickland and Allied Families", by Sexta Eavenson Strickland, pub. 1933, it is indicated that Susannah Eavenson, born 1784, married John Higginbotham, presumably in Elbert Co., GA, and had two children: Mary Higginbotham, married Morgan Ayers, father of Jeff Ayers; Eli Higginbotham, married [Martha Allgood 19 Sep 1850 in Elbert Co.] and had two children Tom and Mary who lived in Athens, GA. Would like to identify descendants of Mary Higginbotham and Morgan Ayers, also of Eli Higginbotham and Martha Allgood. My e-mail is yonahdells@alltel.net.
