Hello,

I am hoping someone can assist us in finding any marriage data on the above ancestors who were married in Franklin, Heard Co., GA. Her (Susan's) parents were also living there nearby (Elijah & Elizabeth Boggus). James Thomas Fowler was about 20 and his wife was about 21 or 22 in the 1870 census. They had no children at the time showing on the 1870 census was taken there. So, I am thinking they were newly weds in 1869. About 1870 to 1871 their first child was born. Being that James Thomas was born in 1850, he would have been about 18 or 19 when they married. Possibly 20, but not sure. We have been unable to find ANYTHING on this couple's marriage. I hope someone can help us.
