Sorry it took so long to say "thank you". I believe Franklin's brother Uriah survived the war, but they were both in H company, 27th Inf, Zacahary Rangers from what I have found. I believe Franklin's Dad was Uriah Eldrich Alexander, found where he died intestate and how his estate was settled in the Henry County probate records. I still know little about Uriah Eldrich, don't know for sure where he came from or who his parents were.
