My family tree is as follows: James Thurston b 1788,VA d. before 1888, SC married Lydia Kirkland supposedly in 1814. George Washington Thurston b.1811,SC was obviously James' son by a previous marriage. In my family tree George Washington Thurston married Elizabeth Davis Mays.Eliza F. Thurston their daughter was my ggrandmother. They lived in Butts Co., GA.
